Always that time of year...

The time of year when you begin thinking about all of the memories, good, mostly bad. It flows out like the snow from the sky. (Of course, a handle of Sailor Jerry doesn't hurt). Maybe it's being stranded in your house from the cold, and the lost connections and bad persuasions throughout. I threw out the bad, and brought in the new. At least that's what I like to tell myself. The bad wasn't really bad at all... It just didn't want to have anything to do with me. Fear of Rejection hinders a society. It cuts you in the knees and does not have the courtesy to reach out it's hand to help you back up. All this time, the only thing I could think to write was 'Your Love is Gonna Drown.' Sure, a very popular Death Cab for Cutie song, but not so cute after all. The demeanor of the word is evil, and somewhat enticing. I guess it's hope that entices you, brings you some temporary excitement.
But when the sun shines again
I'll pull the curtains and blinds to let the light in.
